Color study on shapes

Sometimes I like to take to shapes and just explore the qualities between the two.  In this study I focused on the colors and their relationship.

When I look at it...It kinda reminds me of Nickelodeon GAK!  Loved that stuff

I've been playing around with some palettes from Scott Christensen.  This was a loose interpretation of one of his studies.  It still needs a lot of work but I learned a bunch in the process.

Hunting for Dinosaurs

I must admit...I am a sucker for dinosaurs.  Since I was little, I've always loved them.  You can imagine how my life changed when Jurassic Park came out.  It was like a childhood renaissance.  I had to wait nearly 3 weeks after it came out to finally see it.  Because it was PG-13, my parents wanted to check it out in advance.

This is a piece I started awhile back and haven't done much with since.  The idea is a dino hunter of some type of mech like tribe.  Remember Turok the Dino Hunter?
