We just got back from a trip to see our families in Utah. I had a chance to do a lot of sketching and a little painting in between activities but we were mostly nonstop! This painting is inspired by an area near my cabin in Park City in an Eyvind Earle-esk style...Man, that guy is great! There wasn't any snow while we were there but what's Park City without snow? So, I took the liberty of adding some. It's a very weird feeling to go back to Salt Lake and see the mountains after living on the East Coast for awhile. You don't realize they are so big...even after growing up in their shadows.
In other news, the film I'm working on here at Blue Sky has been given a new name: EPIC. You can read more about it HERE.
