Man, it's already been one year since I joined Blue Sky! I can't believe how quickly it has gone by. As one of my classmates put it during an all-nighter, "time flies like an arrow".
I want to congratulate the design team on a job well-done! From the large scale set designs punched by a satisfying color script to the new character line-up, the film is gorgeous! Check out some of the incredible designers from Blue Sky's art department:
If you haven't seen it already, check out what I've been working on lately: Epic
Here are some color keys and designs from Ice Age 4.

Sounds like an amazing time to be working with there! Fantastic art!
Congratulations Carter. La verdad que muy buenas las pruebas de color. El volumen esta perfect!!. Un saludo desde Spain
Nice work! Do you happen to know if there's gonna be an 'Art of' book maybe? Seems that the Ice Age franchise is the only one that doesn't come with a book and that's a shame:)I would love to see some more art from those movies.
cheers
Szymon
Thank you for your comments!
Szymone-There will not be art of books for the film. Sadly, Fox does not allow us to make them at this time. Hopefully there will be some in the future because there is some incredible work here, mostly hidden from the public
Very awesome!!!
Thanks for your answer Ty. That's sad. Those few artworks that I had chance to see in the internet were very cool (inluding this post:]), so the art books would be amazing for sure. Do you maybe know why Fox does not allow you to show your work? Are they affraid to reveal details about your pipeline or something?
These are GREAT! Very nice color work.
