Wouldn't this legislation just result in studios "moving" outside the US so they can save money on the expensive effects for their movies? I agree that other governments are creating unfair distortions in the market, but I worry that this would have unintended consequences that hurt the other people or even the ones it's trying to protect.
@Sam-Hmmm Im not sure. I can definitely see what you mean. It seems the industry has become so backwards that there is no perfect solution. Hopefully there is some light at the end of the tunnel soon
